Kelly Baxter

Kelly Lee Baxter, 55, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born on July 18, 1969, to the late Chester Gordon Baxter and Katie Clyde Tucker. Kelly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who embraced life with a vibrant spirit and a deep love for those around her.

A woman of infectious laughter and a delightful sense of humor, Kelly had a rare gift for bringing people together. She found great joy in baking, especially cakes, which often became the centerpiece of family celebrations. Above all, she cherished her time with her grandchildren, whose affection for her matched the love she had for them. Kelly's green thumb was legendary; she could often be found nurturing her plants and showering her beloved pets with attention, all while enjoying a cup of coffee.

In addition to her parents, Kelly was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Raymond Baxter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tyrus "Ty" Crawl; her sons, Kristopher Lee (Brittany) Baxter, Tyrus Jerome "T.J." (Jayvion) Crawl II, and Dontavius (Tiffany) Fernandez; her sisters, Kathy Ann Evans, Khristy Kay Ragaledo, and Karen Lynn Baxter; her aunts, Beverly Harper, Coralee Bentley, grandchildren, Christina Isabella Fernandez, Sienna Fernandez, Tyus Jerome Crawl III, Zen Jay Crawl, Maki Crawl, Mila Baxter, Madison McAllister, Marlei McAllister; sisters-in-law, Mary Dixon, Gail Moss, Cynthia Trammell, Cassandra Laye, Margaret Chaney, Freder Lockett; brothers-in-law, Phillip Crawl, Frank Crawl, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Kelly's warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathon Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ASPCA or to Disabled Veterans in memory of Kelly.
