Kathlyn AuBuchon

Kathlyn "Kathy" Renee AuBuchon, of Dallas, GA, passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 67. She was born on September 13, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Eugene and Alice Zunt. Kathy lived a life filled with love, humor, and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Kathy dedicated over 30 years of service as a records clerk with the U.S. Government in the Office of Personnel. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-whether it was shopping, enjoying a relaxing pedicure, or spending meaningful time with family and friends or her beloved dog Penny. She had a kind heart and loved deeply in her own unique way.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick AuBuchon, and two brothers, Bob Zunt and Jim Zunt.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina AuBuchon (Amanda Black) and Ashley AuBuchon; her grandchildren, Izabelle Young and Wyatt Young; her siblings, Donna Zunt, Kim Dudley (Kenneth), and Gene Zunt (Gail); sisters-in-law, Sharon Zunt and Donna Zunt; nieces, Annie Gentry (Lewis), Dawn Coffeen (Michael), and Grace Zunt; nephews, Michael Glass and Zachary Zunt; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A service of reflection and sharing will take place at 2:00 PM during the visitation.

Kathy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. May she rest in peace.
