Joshua Lanier Pendley

Our loving son, Joshua L. Pendley, tragically left us on November 28th, 2022. Joshua loved his boys more than anything, he loved coaching their baseball teams, playing sports with them, being involved with all the children on the teams, teaching them how to ride dirt bikes, and how to work on cars. His life purpose was to take care of his boys. He was a mentor to so many people, young and old. If you needed to know how to do something or needed help fixing something, Joshua was who you called. He could do anything. He loved life and making others happy, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on heavy equipment, and most of all being his joyful, goofy self and he always brought a smile to everyone's face.

Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Richards; grandmother (Granny) Linda Hughes; grandfather, Wilbur Pendley; and other loved ones. He left behind two brave sons- Hank Pendley and Ethan Pendley who will miss him so much; his loving mother, Terri Gilliam; Step Father, Joe Gilliam; Brother, Kenneth Pendley (Donna); his Aunt, Tonja Weeks; and his twin cousins, Mandy and Tandy; and many other close relatives.

May our beloved son shine down on us from the Heavens above to guide us daily as we walk this path of life until we are united again.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A memorial service for Mr. Pendley will begin at 2:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Operations Pastor Todd Lollis officiating.
