Josephine "Jo" M. Henry

Josephine "Jo" M. Henry, age 84, of Dallas, Ga, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026. Born in Atlanta, Josephine was the daughter of the late Milton and Lucille Mathews, and the widow of the late Elwyn Henry.

A lifelong resident of Georgia, Josephine was a member of the Dallas First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who provided a loving home for her family, and where friends were always welcome. Josephine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Josephine is survived by her children, Roger E. Henry (Rebecca), Russell Henry (Dianne), Kim Duvall (Gary), Randy Henry (Lynne), and Rodney Henry (Kimberly); sister Jackie Deese; grandchildren, Brandy Davies (Stephen), Rusty Henry (Kaila), Hillary Harding (Drew), Todd Duvall (Addy), Andrew Henry (Madeline), and Braden Barrett; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Hunter, Brianne, Kelsie, and Ollie. Josephine was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome to visit with Josephine's family on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral service is on Thursday, April 9, at 11:00 am in the Sam Clark Chapel, with Pastor Blake Trent officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
