It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joe" Grimme, who left us peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on November 8, 1952, in Johnstown, PA, to the late Charles & Magdaline Grimme. He was preceded in death also by his sister, Charlotte Heafer.
Joe was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, who dedicated his life to his family and his work as an electrician at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and Jones & Frank Petroleum.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Grimme; his two cherished daughters, Aimee (David) Kinzer and Courtney (Jason) Uglow; and his siblings, Charles Grimme, Jr. and Lois Lees. He took immense joy in his grandchildren, Korri, Kelsey, Tim, Haley, Bryce, Aden, Jackson, Baylee, and great-grandchild, Jett.
To those who knew him, Joseph was a man of simple pleasures. He loved the tranquility of fly fishing, the thrill of hunting deer and turkey, and listening to his favorite 70's rock music. He often reminisced about his memorable trips to Woodstock in the 1960's and found joy in the sun and surf during family trips to the beach. Joe's love for life and his unwavering spirit will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date. In accordance with his wishes, his remains will be cremated.
Clark Funeral Home, in Hiram, GA, is honored to be entrusted with the service of Mr. Joe Grimme.
