"Despite knowing they won't be here for long, they still chose to live their brightest lives."

John Wesley Southall was born on December 14th, 1961 at Maxwell Air Force base in Montgomery, Alabama. He passed on September 19th, 2021 at Paulding memorial hospital in Dallas Georgia. He is survived by his wife, his daughter and son, his parents, his 4 brothers and sister, 15 cats and 2 dogs.
John came into this world 3 weeks early and, despite what the doctors feared, he survived. He was a sweet, kind, and caring man who loved and prioritized his family. A soul truly blessed with so much creativity and love for what he made. He loved to garden, to read, and to spend his days enjoying the sun. He lived a full and happy life and he left us the same way he came to us, entirely too early. He will be dearly missed and eternally loved by many.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul, 680 W Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132, at 11:00a.m. with Reverend Father Adrian Pleus officiating.
