John Rhinehart

John Rhinehart, age 80, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1945, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Manuel Victor Rhinehart and Ruby Rhinehart. John was raised in Rockmart, Georgia, and later settled in Powder Springs, Georgia, where he built a loving home with his wife, Sandra Rhinehart, with whom he was married for 60 years.

John was a dedicated carpenter, having successfully run his own construction business throughout his life. He was a simple man who took immense pride in his work and found joy in the small pleasures of life, such as working in his yard and completing chores around the house. He loved the fall of the year and traveling to the mountains to see the changing leaves. His favorite times were spent in the company of Sandra and his family, as he valued the bonds that held them together.

John honorably served in the United States Army, exemplifying dedication and commitment to his country.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brothers M.L., Gus, Randell, Barnett, and Robert Rhinehart.

John leaves behind a loving family, including his son Jason (Elaine) Rhinehart; his daughter Melinda Broussard; his cherished grandson, Miles Graser; his great-granddaughter Isabella Lynn Grumbling; and his sisters Ruth (Jerry) Dunn and Janice (Gene) Mooney.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel.
