John Motley

John Harwood Motley, 92, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007. He was born on May 10,1914 in Thorald, Ontario Canada to the late John William and Emily "Cotter" Motley . He retired as a clerk for B.F. Goodrich. He was in The Canadian Army and he was a member of The Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA.
Surviving are his daughter , Alma Emily Bentz of Mesa, AZ; sons and daughter-in-law, John Patrick Motley of Buffalo, NY, Edward and Alison Motley of Dallas, GA and Eric Francis Motley of Hiram, GA and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. from St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA with Father Adrienne Pleus officiating. The interment will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
