John Jackson Wigley

John Jackson "Jackie" Wigley passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1932 in Villa Rica, GA, a son of the late Gordon Wallace Wigley and Mary Lenora Parker Wigley. He worked as a Brake Lineman for 30 years at General Motors. John loved God, life and people.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Gober Wigley; a son, Robert Wayne Melton; a brother, Thomas Eugene Wigley and a brother-in-law, Raymond Scott. He is survived by one son, Larry (Kathy) Melton; one daughter, Kitty (Charles) Phillips; one daughter-in-law Cheryl Melton; two brothers, Donald (Christine) Wigley, David (Gail) Wigley; three sisters, Myra Scott, Martha Coker, Dilene (Charles) Thompson; 11 grandchildren, ; 23 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service for John will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday September 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.
