JB Hawkins

Mr. John Bennett (JB) Hawkins, Jr. age 79, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on April 22,2026 following a lengthy illness.

He was retired from Atlantic Steel and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

JB is survived by his wife Connie Hawkins, stepdaughters Lisa Dinning, Anissa (Greg) Weaver, and son in law Ryan Walton, grandchildren Karlie and Chad Weaver, Kamryn and Kason Dinning and Kensley Walton. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Rachel Hawkins, stepdaughter Brandi Walton and son in law Kevin Dinning.

Service will be held at Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Hiram on Saturday May 2nd at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Paulding County Animal Shelter or your local Humane Society.
