JB Hawkins

Mr. John Bennett (JB) Hawkins, Jr., age 79, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on April 22, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

He retired from Atlantic Steel and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

JB is survived by his wife Connie Hawkins, stepdaughters Lisa Dinning, Anissa (Greg) Weaver, and son-in-law Ryan Walton, grandchildren Karlie and Chad Weaver, Kamryn and Kason Dinning, and Kensley Walton. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Rachel Hawkins, stepdaughter Brandi Walton, and son-in-law Kevin Dinning.

Service will be held at Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Hiram on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Paulding County Animal Shelter or your local Humane Society.
