John David "JD" Fritsche, Jr.

Mr. John David "JD" Fritsche, Jr, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on April 3, 1977, in Metairie, Louisiana, John was a man of great spirit, whose passions and love for his family defined his life. He resided in Dallas, Georgia, where he made countless memories and left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.

He was a devoted family man, survived by his beloved wife Erin Fritsche and their children: John David (Cheyanne) Fritsche III, Kaitlyn Black, Hannah Kelley, Addisyn Fritsche, Addison Anderson, and Evangeline Anderson. John found immense joy in watching his daughters dance and cheering on North Paulding High School's football team. He was also a proud grandfather to Maelynn Fritsche, Madelynn Fritsche, and Luca Kelley.

A man of faith, John found solace and fellowship at West Ridge Church, where he nurtured his relationship with Jesus. His warm spirit extended to his lifelong love for the LSU Tigers and the great outdoors, often indulging in fishing, hunting, camping, and riding four-wheelers. He would often venture to the lake, where sunsets and sunrises took on a special importance in his life, reflecting his appreciation for God's creation. John worked diligently as an Industrial Coating Specialist at LLamas Coatings LLC, known by his colleagues as a hard worker with an unmatched determination. His stubbornness was well-known, but it was often accompanied by a heart as big as his love for Dr. Pepper.

John leaves behind his parents, John and Charlene Fritsche, Sr, as well as his siblings: Anthony (Katie) Fritsche, Josh (Hope) Fritsche, Derek (Caitlyn) Fritsche, Tracey (Josh) Randall, Brittany (Zack) Maddox, Nicole (Jarett) Songy, and Karen Fritsche; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM from Sam Clark Chapel, with Pastor Rodney Carson officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Interment will follow at a later date at Killian Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield, LA.

In our hearts and memories, JD, will forever remain a guiding light; his laughter, love, and stubbornness etched in the fabric of our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Fritsche.

In lieu of cut flowers, the family kindly requests that potted plants be sent in memory of JD, as a lasting tribute.
