John Davis
September 5, 1943 — January 26, 2009
John Robert Davis, age 65, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2009. A native of Paulding County, he was born September 5, 1943, and was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Clinton Davis & Flora Louetta Davis, and his wife, Brenda Louise Jones Davis. He worked as a superintendent in the construction industry and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons & daughters-in-law, James Richard Davis & wife, Darlene W. of Douglasville, and Scott Lee Davis & wife, Brenda Charlene of Dallas; brothers & sisters-in-law, Albert & Jessie Davis of Dallas and Harold & Marcella Davis of Temple; sister, Ovilene Partain of Loganville; grandchildren, Andrew Scott Davis and Erica Marie Davis; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 2009, at 3:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Leonard Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
