Jodi Ann (Murray) Kasten

Jodi Ann Kasten passed away on Sunday, July 2nd 2023.

Born in Woodbury, New Jersey to A.K. and Patricia Murray, raised in West Virginia and Gulf Breeze Florida, Jodi grew to be the force of nature we all knew her to be. Jodi immersed herself in life and any interest she had. She was a concert level clarinetist with an amazing talent to play any reed instrument. When she wished to learn something, she jumped in with both feet. She would soak in new knowledge and apply it where possible. With her preternatural organizational skills, fetish for crafting and office supplies, role as an "Up-leveler of the WOW factor" and talents as a "5th generation fabricator", she was seen as a leader and expert in all things. She would reach out to others to share her talents and help and heal all she could. She was trained as a bard, but always a cleric. She was a mother to four beautiful, unique children and opened her heart to welcome an expanding extended family. She had an unequaled and enormous capacity for love.

Jodi is lovingly survived by her husband/life-partner Phoenix, her Mother Patricia Murray, four children, as well as many other family and friends.

Jodi's blinding soul was a beacon that touched and guided so many lives and will forever be missed

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday July 9, 2023, from 4:00pm - 9:00pm at Sara Babb Park, 216 Recreation Drive, Dallas, GA, 30132.
