Jerry Howell

Mr. Jerry Wayne Howell, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 56. He was born in Austell, Georgia on August 9, 1968, to Gerald Howell and Betty Howell. Jerry attended Tabernacle Baptist Church alongside his wife, Dawn. Prior to his role as project manager at Premier Finishes, Mr. Howell was the proud owner of his own business, Howell Painting.

A man of strong character and unyielding dedication, Jerry was the epitome of a loving family man. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He had a passion for coaching his sons when they were younger through different sports, and he loved golfing with his sons which was a testament to his unwavering commitment to family and community.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dave Rowland, his grandparents, Harold and Elma Howell and Luke and Agnes Pearson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Dawn Howell; his sons, Jacob (Haley) Howell, Dylan (Laney) Howell, and Jeremy Howell; his parents, Gerald Howell and Betty Howell; his brother, Dwayne (Ginger) Howell; his grandchildren, Jackson Howell, Charli Howell, Scarlett Howell, and Maddox Howell; as well as his nieces and nephews, Morgan Howell, Taylor Howell, Cody (Hannah) Howell, Hudson Rowland, and Hayden Rowland.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services for Jerry will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Sam Clark Chapel beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Derek Berry officiating and Chris Bailey officiating the graveside.

Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Jacob Howell, Dylan Howell, Jeremy Howell, Dwayne Howell, Cody Howell, and Justin Rowland serving as pallbearers.
