Jerry Arnold

Mr. Jerry Albert Arnold, age 78 of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025. He was born September 2, 1946 in Marietta, Georgia, son of the late William Arnold and the late Hattie Mae Isom Arnold.

He retired from Lockheed as a machinist with over 20 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. His favorite pastimes were deer hunting, fishing, camping at the lake and coaching baseball. Jerry was always ready to tell a joke and loved to piddle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Clay Arnold; two brothers and two sisters, William, Jack, Rachel and Jenna Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Brown Arnold to whom he was married March 9, 1967; two sons and daughters-in-law, J.B. and Stacy Arnold and Bo and Wendy Arnold; seven grandchildren, Raley Arnold, Jessica Arnold (Savannah), Bryant (Addy) Arnold, Alexis Arnold, Hayden (Abby) Arnold, Burton Arnold and Halle Arnold; a brother, Howard Arnold; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Arnold will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Sam Clark Chapel with Brother Mike Hornbuckle officiating. The family will receive friends at the Clark Funeral Home prior to the service from 12 noon until the memorial hour.
