Jerelene Price Jones

Jerelene Price Jones passed away December 7, 2021 at the age of 77. She was born June 20, 1944 to the late Hilton and Belle Howard in Acworth, GA. Jerelene was known by many as “Memaw” and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, gambling, fishing, yard sales, and going to church. She was also a great cook and everyone loved Memaw’s banana pudding. Jerelene was a member of Open Doors Church in Acworth and will be remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Jerelene is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Belle Howard, and her sister, Annie Maudell Phillips. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (DeLana) Price, and Timothy (Mechele) Price; daughter, Cynthia (Randy) McCoy; sister, Juanita Little; grandchildren, Anthony Blake Mewborn, Haley Danielle Howell, Katelin Price, Kera Price, Alexis Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Whitney Kathleen Price, and Victoria (Brian) McCoy; great grandchildren, Jackson Howell, Nyeyana McCoy, Kendall Swift, Ezra Swift, Amelia Swift, and Everly Kathleen Dobson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services for Jerelene will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Open Doors Church at 2:00pm with Pastor Mike Loner officiating. Interment will follow at Mountainview Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Price, Timothy Price, Jacob Howell, Blake Mewborn, John Hall, and Cowboy Higdon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Howell and Ezra Swift.
