Jeff Rakestraw

Jeff Rakestraw, age 56, of Port Saint Joe, FL., formerly of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Jeff was born September 5, 1968 to Venita Lambert and Larry Rakestraw.

Jeff had resided in Port St. Joe, FL for the past few years which allowed him to enjoy his passions for boating, fishing, and riding on the beach in his Jeep. He never met a stranger and with his great sense of humor, he became friends with many.

Those who remain to cherish Jeff's memory are his mother Venita Lambert; sister Jenni Turner; nieces Haley Romines and Hannah Chasteen; great nephews Apollo, Cannon, and R.J.. Jeff was preceded in death by his loving wife Stacy; brother Chris Rakestraw; father Larry Rakestraw.

In accordance with Jeff's wish he was cremated and the family will celebrate his life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2 O'clock pm until 4 O'clock pm by receiving family and friends at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram.
