Jeff Bagby

Jeff Bagby was born and raised in Paulding County, GA. He graduated from Dallas High School in 1961. His parents, George and Ruth Bagby were life-long residents of Paulding County. He is survived by a brother, Tommy Bagby, and a sister, Judy Bagby. He is also survived by a daughter, Jenni Bagby Turner, a step-son, Jeff Rakestraw, nephew, Kyle Bagby, two granddaughters, Hayley Romines and Hannah Chasteen, and three great grandsons. He spent most of his adult life serving as a deputy with the Paulding County Sherriff’s Department, retiring as a Major in 2003. After retirement, he moved to Port St. Joe, Florida and built a home there where he died peacefully on August 14, 2021.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Dallas City Cemetery on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
