Janice "Renea" Hite, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 63. She was born on March 1, 1960, to the late Otis and Janette Dailey. Renea was known for her warm heart, love for family, and passion for cooking.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas Hite. Renea dedicated her life to being a loving and devoted homemaker and caregiver. She took immense pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends. Her commitment to ensuring that no one went hungry was a testament to her selfless nature.
Not only did Renea have a heart for her family, but she also had a deep love for animals.
Renea was known for her outspoken and direct nature. She wasn't afraid to voice her opinions, standing up for what she believed in and advocating for those who needed a voice. Her honesty and genuine personality were cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tiko (Jamora) Jones and Donald (Deshia) Jones, her sister Annette (Adrian) Robbins, her grandchild Terrico Jones, three great-granddaughters, the Hite family and a host of nieces and nephews. Renea's love and legacy will live on through her family, who will forever treasure the memories they shared together.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all those who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time. A memorial service in Renea's honor will be held at 1:00 PM, on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Sam Clark Funeral Home and Chapel, with Pastor Raymirron Jones officiating.
Janice Renea Hite touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. Her legacy of love, compassion, and the joy she brought to others will forever hold a special place in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
