Janet Howard

Janet L. Howard, age 64, of Dallas, GA, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025. Janet was a remarkable woman whose contributions to her family, community, and the countless animals she rescued will be cherished forever. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Corinne Howard.

Janet dedicated her career to serving others as a dedicated professional at Clark Ambulance, where she exemplified compassion and commitment. Upon retiring, she unleashed her nurturing spirit through her passion for animal rescue, fostering a bond with many creatures who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Her zest for life extended to playing cards with friends and family, where her laughter and friendly competition created lasting memories. A true nature lover, Janet loved the great outdoors!

Janet is survived by her lifelong partner, Shelly Klassen; daughter, Megan Lancour (D.J.); son, Billy Joe; and her cherished grandchildren, Hayden, Lillianmay, Annabella, and Adessa Lancour; as well as her brother, Robert "Robbie" Howard. Also surviving Janet are her fur babies, Sage, Little Bit, and Stormy.
