Jane Newell Adcock

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jane Newell Adcock, who left us peacefully on June 1, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on November 30, 1934, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Curtis and Lois Mae Newell, Jane lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to her family and her faith.

 Jane was a devoted wife to her late husband, James Edward Adcock, for 67 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and loving home in Villa Rica, GA, where she cherished every moment with her children, David (Sandy) Adcock and Lisa Renee Adcock. Family was everything to Jane, and her love for them knew no bounds. 

A lifelong gardener, Jane found joy in nurturing her plants and delighting in the birds that visited her feeders. Her green thumb and welcoming spirit brought warmth to those around her. Jane was also an active member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, where she formed countless friendships and found strength in her community.

 In her later years, Jane moved into nursing care, but her indomitable spirit and loving nature never faded. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Lois Newell; her husband, James Edward Adcock; and her daughter, Lisa Renee Adcock.

She is survived by her son, David Adcock, and daughter-in-law Sandy Adcock.

Graveside services for Jane will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mr. Harmony Cemetery in Mableton, Georgia with Rev. Joe Condra officiating. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and sharing memories of the joy she brought into our lives.
