James Dorsey Garmon, Sr.

James Dorsey Garmon Sr., age 89, of Hiram, Ga ., passed away on June 2, 2017 . He was born on June 8, 1927, in Dallas, Ga. , to the late Ezra Garmon, and Mary Maude Williams Garmon, and was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Mae Garmon, and a son Mark Norris. Mr. Garmon was employed by Delmar Inc. as a Cabinet Maker for 30 years and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include sons, Roger Garmon. of Hiram, Ga. and Jimmy Garmon,of Temple, Ga. , daughter, Pam Crowe, of Hiram, Ga., 8 Grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held June 5, 2017, at 3:00 PM from Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Teddy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday June 4, 2017 at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM.
