James “Jim” Brewer, age 88, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born on October 23, 1927, to the late Claude Grady & Esther Viola Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a United States Army Veteran, retired from American General as an insurance salesman, and attended West View Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, John & Deborah Brewer of Hiram, GA, Linda & Mike Tibbetts of Dallas, GA, and Betty & Harold Hobbs of Marietta, GA; sisters, Tommie Henry of Dallas, GA, and Ann & Raymond Force of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Chris & Debra Brewer, Chad & Christina Brewer, Mindy & Josh Stephenson, Rachel Tibbetts, Emma Hobbs, and Adam Hobbs; great-grandchildren, Brienna Brewer, Georlind Brewer, Jonathan Brewer, Sydney Stephenson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 3 PM from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating. Interment will follow in New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 2 PM until the time of service.
