James Allgood Sr

Mr. James Edward Allgood Sr., age 70, of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2006. He was born on February 2, 1936 in Cedartown to the late Jessie and Barbara Allgood. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He was a Marine veteran and was a member of Cameron Christian Church in Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karan J. Allgood.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Jeta Allgood; a daughter, Christa Allgood Pritchard of Rockmart; sons, James Edward Allgood Jr. of Hiram, Dennis Keith Allgood Sr. of Hiram, Jessie Robert Allgood Sr. of Hiram, Benji Williams of Dallas and Shawn Williams of Hiram; grandchildren, Lacey Dale Pringle, Dennis Keith Allgood Jr., Tiffany Ann Allgood, Billy Wayne Pritchard II, Whitney Ellen Pritchard, Jessie Robert Allgood Jr., James Lewis Allgood and Joshua Ryan Allgood; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Alaina Pringle.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Cathy Newton officiating.
