Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Geraldine Kuykendoll, age 73 of Tallapoosa, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026. She was born on November 22, 1952, in Douglasville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Roy Hay and the late Lillian Johnson Reed.
She was a receptionist in the automotive industry, having worked 18 years for Hyundai Motor America, and was a member of the Rehoboth Christian Center of Tallapoosa, Georgia. Jackie was a strong, independent, stubborn woman, often called the "warden", who inspired everyone around her. Beautiful inside and out, she brought joy and love to all who knew her, and her warm smile and beautiful white hair reflected her gentle spirit.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rory Hay.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Roy Allen Kuykendoll; step-daughter, Wendy Sanders and her husband, Zach Sanders; step-son, Michael Kuykendoll and his wife, Dr. Lana Kuykendoll; brother, Bret Hay; granddaughter, Whitney Kuykendoll (Michale Davis); and great-granddaughter, Ellory Davis-Kuykendoll.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor Caleb Gooden and Pastor David Gresham officiating. Interment service will follow in Sunrise Gardens of Memories of Douglasville, Georgia, with Jacob Hay, Jerry Kuykendoll, Jacob Hay, Luke Hay, Jared Johanningmeier, Michale Davis and Willie Johanningmeier serving as pallbearers.
