Izzie Davis

Mrs. Izzie Davis, age 63 of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Mrs. Davis was born August 3, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Howard Garner and the late Irene Jones Garner. She was a homemaker and a member of Paran Baptist Church of Forsyth. Due to her illness, she was limited in her daily activities but loved gardening and spending time with her husband, Donald.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Donald Davis to whom she was married December 31, 2009; three sons, Rodney and Alicia Self, Michael and Annie Self and Shawn and Phoebzjoy Self; one grandson, Zachary Self; two sisters, Bobbie and Ron Lands and Patty Hunt; brother, Paul Garner; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home of Hiram on Saturday, May 10, 2025 between the hours of 12 noon and 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Sam Clark Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to breast cancer research in memory of Izzie.
