In Loving Memory of Horace Edward Richardson

Horace Edward Richardson, a beloved husband, father, Pawpaw, and brother, passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 59. He was the epitome of love, care, and kindness, leaving an indelible impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Born on July 23, 1964, Horace was cherished by his wife of 34 years, Terri Richardson, with whom he shared a life full of joy and cherished memories. Together, they navigated life's ups and downs, supporting and uplifting each other. His passing leaves a void in Teri's heart that can never be filled, but she finds solace in the enduring love they shared.

Horace was a devoted father to his son, Horace Edward Richardson Jr. He was extremely proud of his son's accomplishments and found great joy in watching him grow into a loving and caring man, just like his father. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and Horace Jr. will carry his father's guidance, wisdom, and love with him forever and pass along to his son.

As a brother, Horace was a constant source of strength and support for his siblings, Robert Person and Curtis Lee Richardson. Horace's passing leaves behind a deep sense of loss within their hearts, but their shared memories and the strength of their brotherly love will serve as a guiding light during this difficult time.

Horace's legacy extends to his cherished grandchild, Damian Richardson, who brought immense joy and happiness to his Pawpaw's life. Damian will forever hold dear the memories of their conversations on the phone, filled with laughter, love, and boundless affection. Horace's loving presence will be missed, but his spirit will live on through Damian and the generations to come.

In his leisure time, Horace enjoyed working in the backyard, and finding solace in nature. He found great pleasure in fishing and hunting. Horace also had a passion for computer games, particularly Black Hawk Down, which allowed him to unwind and indulge in his competitive spirit.

The memories of Horace will leave a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Fondly remembered as an easygoing and reflective individual, he possessed a calm and thoughtful presence that put others at ease.

Horace is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Rebecca Richardson.

Horace is lovingly survived by his wife, Terri Richardson, his son Horace Edward (Kayla) Richardson Jr., his grand son, Damian Richardson, his brothers, Robert Person, Curtis Lee Richardson. He is also survived by Thomas Lee Tuck who held a special place in his heart and life, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A service for Horace will follow at 12:00pm. After his service, Horace will be laid to rest at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton.

Horace Edward Richardson will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, doting Pawpaw, and supportive brother. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of compassion, laughter, and boundless love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to have known him.
