Holly Ward

Holly Ward, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2025, in Rockmart, GA. Holly was born on December 14, 1959, in San Jose, California, to the late McRae and Dorothy Robertson.

 Holly was a dedicated childcare provider, pouring her heart into caring for the children at Childcare Network. She touched countless young lives and found immense joy in her work. Beyond her professional life, Holly was known for her love of HGTV, often getting lost in the world of home makeovers, while she enjoyed playing Candy Crush during her downtime. Holly had a passion for the mountains and treasured the time spent there, especially with her family.

 A faithful member of West Ridge Church, Holly cherished her church family. She participated wholeheartedly in special events like Night to Shine and Hope for Christmas, always eager to spread joy and create lasting memories with those around her.

 Holly is survived by her beloved son, Cody Pate; and her siblings: brothers Joel (Pat) Robertson, Tim (Glenda) Robertson, Mark (Martha) Robertson, and Robby (Ann) Robertson, and sister Diane (Bob) Bohanon. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply.

 Holly's family will welcome visitors on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor John Morgan officiating. Holly will be laid to rest at Powder Springs Memorial Cemetery with Bob Bohanon, John Bohanon, Mark Robertson, Steven Robertson, Hunter Cannon, and Micah Glover serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, you may make memorial donations in Holly's name to the Special Needs Ministries at West Ridge Church.
