Hjalmer Ralph Hockenson

Hjalmer Ralph Hockenson passed away on February 3, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1927 to the late Hjalmer and Clara Hockenson. Hjalmer is a United States Navy Veteran who served in World War II for almost 2 years. He loved to fix things and will be remembered as a very dedicated and devoted man who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife; Ruth Olivia Hockenson, two brothers, and three sisters, one of which was his twin. He is survived by his children; Linda Hockenson of Dallas, GA, Janet Ann Lindsey of Dallas, GA, Geraldine May (Elmont) White of Dallas, GA, Karen Lynn (Mike) Overcash of Marietta, GA, Gale Jean (Bill) Tippins of Marietta, GA, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Hockenson will be on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows with family serving as pallbearers.
