Henry Lee Jones

Mr. Henry Lee Jones, age 75 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born June 21, 1950, son of the late John Robert Jones, Sr. and the late Viola Norrell Price.

Henry was known for his dedication and hard work as a meat cutter for Food Giant for over 25 years and was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He cherished quiet moments spent sitting on his porch. Henry loved his truck and enjoyed taking jeep rides with his daughter. He found joy in playing softball and bowling, surrounded by friends and laughter. An avid fan of John Wayne movies and westerns, he often shared his love for old country music. He was a member of a C.B. Radio Club and enjoyed playing video games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Travis Maddox; two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marlene Landrum Jones, to whom he was married June 28, 1968; daughter, Cindy Maddox; son, William Thomas (Lori) Jones; brother, Joel (Teresa) Jones; seven grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Brittany (Christian) Cosby, Keith (Carla) Jones, Alyssa (Jacob) Mills, Alia Jones, Samantha (Damien) Cosby and Abigail (Lance) McCravy; eight great-grandchildren, Branden Hogsed, Waylan Hall, Bellamy Hogsed, Blair Morgan, Brayden Morgan, Elaina Mills, Lucia Jones and Sophia Jones; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in the Mozley Memorial Gardens of Lithia Springs with Pastor Joel Jones officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Lance McCravy, Damien Morgan, Kevin Jones, Keith Jones, Christian Hogsed and Jacob Mills.
