Gregory Martin Yarbrough

Mr. Gregory Martin Yarbrough, age 58 of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was born October 21, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia, son of the late Robert Yarbrough and the late Helen Hitchcock Yarbrough.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Greg spent his days working as a correction officer for the Carroll County Board of Corrections, serving his community with pride and was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of Villa Rica. Being a big talker, he had a knack for striking up a conversation with family and friends. He found joy in nature, whether he was out fishing or hunting, or just enjoying the beauty of the mountains. His heart was always with his family and his church, where he created lasting memories and deep connections.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Henderson to whom he was married April 8, 2023; two step-daughters, Tiffany (Charlie) Robinson and Amanda (Eric) Calel; step-son, Joseph Summerville; eleven step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, June 26, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00am in the Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor David Gresham officiating. Interment service will follow in the New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William Spray, Austin Swan, Charlie Robinson, Eric Calel, Deputy Warden Rainwater, Joseph Summerville and Lt. Brian Freeman.
