Mr. Gregory Michael Frank, age 71, passed away on July 27, 2026. Greg was born in Montebello, California to the late Samuel and Susan Frank.
Greg was raised in California and enjoyed an incredible childhood that laid the foundation for his adventurous spirit. At the age of 18, he set off to explore the world, living in Canada, various cities across the United States, and parts of Southeast Asia. He often remarked with pride, "I've been from the Arctic to the Congo and in the jungles of Borneo," illustrating a life filled with extraordinary experiences. Greg was truly one-of-a-kind-a vibrant spirit who never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Known for his contagious enthusiasm, he was a beloved figure at his local hangout, where he delighted in starting karaoke nights and bringing joy to all who crossed his path.
Forty-five years ago, Greg married the love of his life, Sherry Frank. Together, they created a nurturing home for their three amazing sons, Derek (Alex) Frank, Jason Frank (Danielle Gauntlett), and Miles (Bailey) Frank. Greg cherished moments with his family, wearing the title of dedicated husband, father, and grandfather with pride. Celebrating not only their lives but also his wonderful grandchildren Amanda, Kennadie, Samuel, Carter, Bailey, Camden, Elijah, and Esai-who filled his heart with joy every day. He will also be missed by his two daughters in law, Becky Rodriguez, and Nicole Bartee. Greg would often joke that his first "child," is a 45-year-old parrot named Caesar. Caesar went to the pool with Greg every chance they got. Caesar was Greg's bird and he will miss him dearly. Person or animal, Greg made you feel loved, seen, and special.
To know Greg was to love him, as he brought light and laughter to every encounter. Recently, Greg shared with his family, "I had a hell of a lot of fun in life and I couldn't recall any grief," a testament to his remarkable outlook on life.
In accordance to Greg's wishes, he will be cremated.
Greg Frank was an exceptional man whose presence will be missed beyond measure. We celebrate his life and the love he brought to all.
