Grady Adams
November 2, 1943 — September 27, 2007
Grady Alexander Adams, Jr., age 63, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007. The son of the late Grady Alexander Adams, Sr. & the late Lillian Adams, he was born November 2, 1943 in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Adams was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired lab tech in the printing industry and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Carrollton.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia R. "Midge" Adams of Dallas; son & daughter-in-law, Danny Adams & wife Leah of Dahlonega; daughters & sons-in-law, Jaime Michelle Holvey & husband Joe of Douglasville, Debbie Barnes & husband Billy of Clarksville, TN, and Missy Anglin of Dallas; sisters, Rosie Brooks of Smyrna and Elizabeth Pruitt of Marietta; eight grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Larry Scott officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00pm in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 30, 2007, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
