Mrs. Glenda Clifton, age 83 of Temple, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was born December 26, 1942 in Dublin, Georgia, daughter of the late B.F. McMurrey and the late Flossie Miller McMurrey.
She was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church of Dallas, Georgia, and was a paralegal who dedicated 28 years supporting her husband, Leo W. Clifton, Sr., in his law firm. Glenda lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and unwavering faith. She put a priority on family and was a loving, kind and generous wife, mother and grandmother. She was an amazing artist, author, and story writer who loved to stay active.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leo W. Clifton, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Clifton (Tony Boles) and Candace "Candy" Archer (Clete); son, Leo William "Will" Clifton, Jr. (Katrena); two sisters, Cynthia Perkins (Perky) and Deborah Mulder; brother, Rodney McMurrey (Jan); twelve grandchildren, Annie Defnall (Steven), Brandi Morris, Russell Moore, Molli Kabina (Dillon), Jarod Boles, Jake Archer (Breanna), Josh Archer (Erin), Maddie Archer, Abbie Archer, Dakota Clifton, Adora Clifton, Montana Folsom (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Raelyn Defnall, Conall Defnall, Remi Kabina, Landon Solem, Maverick Archer, Jane Archer, Lily Archer, Adeline Archer, Ryder Gentry, Fisher Folsom, and Azz Clifton; several nieces and nephews.
