George Lindsey

Mr. George Walter Lindsey Jr., age 64, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006. He was born on October 6, 1942 in Birmingham, AL to the late George Walter Lindsey Sr. and Inez Cox Lindsey. He was a lab technician with Gerdau Ameristeel in Cartersville and was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Bell Dorsey Lindsey; a daughter, Melissa Lindsey of Westminster, Maryland; a son, Wes E. Dorsey and his wife, Crystal of Cumming, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Helen Lindsey of Bessemer, AL; grandchildren, Nora and Hana Dorsey; two nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA with Dr. Richard Walker and Len Turner officiating. The interment will follow in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
