George Washington Bullock

George "Bud" Washington Bullock passed away December 16, 2021 at the age of 86. George was born February 22, 1935 to the late J. Harmon and Effie May Bullock in Dallas, GA. He served our country for over 20 years in the United States Navy. On January 28, 1957, he married the love of his life, Nancy Bice Bullock, and together they raised two sons, Stacey and Mike. Mr. Bullock was a loving husband, father, and papa. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and hanging out at the store with friends where he'd regularly have breakfast with the men. George never met a stranger and he loved to talk. He was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. George was deeply loved and his presence will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

George is preceded in death by his parents, J. Harmon and Effie May Bullock; brothers, Billy (Linda) Bullock, and Jack Bullock; and sister, Helen Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Nancy Bullock; sons, Stacey (Lisa Langston) Bullock, and Mike (Valerie Morris) Bullock; brother, Jerry (Emily) Bullock; grandchildren, Josh (Rachael) Bullock, Justin (Mia) Bullock, Brittney (Jeremy) Hall, Jared Bullock, and Ben (Rayna) Langston; and great-grandchildren, Landon Thackston, Lauren Bullock, Bennett Bullock, Addysan Hall, and Bentley Hall.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at New Georgia Baptist Church, 6092 Mulberry Rock Road, Villa Rica, GA 30180 at 2:00pm with Brother Jerry Hollis and Brother Jim Burdette officiating. Mr. Bullock will lie in state from 1:00pm until the service begins at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery in Villa Rica, GA.
