George Robert Brewer

George Robert Brewer, 86, of Dallas, Georgia, was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 9, 1940, and passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026.

George was a loving husband, father, and Pa Paw. He was married to the love of his life, Barbara Brewer, for 68 years - a lifetime filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Brenda King, Robbie Brewer (Sharon), Cory Brewer (Abbey), and Carey Brewer (Jill); 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, who were such an important part of his life and his heart.

George was the kind of man who could light up a room just by walking into it. He was always the life of the party, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a helping hand. He never met a stranger, and it didn't take long for anyone who crossed his path to feel like family. To know George was to love him. He was a man his family could always count on. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply someone to make them laugh, George was there. He was a hardworking man and a great provider who spent 30 dedicated years working at Mabry and Haynes before retiring.

George loved the simple joys of life. He enjoyed riding his golf cart, boating, camping, woodworking, and making memories with the people he loved. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino, where you could find him trying his luck at the slot machines. But more than anything, George loved his family. His greatest joy was being a husband, a dad, and a Pa Paw.

George leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, stories, and love that will be carried on by the family he cherished so deeply. His absence will leave an emptiness that can never truly be filled, but his love and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Julia Brewer, and his siblings, Jay Brewer, Jewel Ransom, and Jerrie Priest.

George was one of a kind. He was loved deeply, he lived fully, and he will be missed more than words can say. His family finds comfort in knowing that the love he gave so freely will live on through every generation he leaves behind.
