Faye Clark, 90, of Dallas, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Born on December 30, 1935, in Fairburn, Georgia, Faye was the daughter of the late Wesley and Janie Bishop.
Faye was retired from Bank of America as their receptionist, where she warmly welcomed everyone who walked through the doors. Her professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Beyond her career, Faye was renowned for her talent as a home decorator, creating beautiful and inviting spaces that reflected her love for family and friends.
Faye was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Richard Clark, and a proud mother to her three children, Kenneth Burks, Steve Burks, and Jacqueline Smith; stepchildren Cher Clark, Dolores Walker, Tenneson Clark, and Kenneth Clark. She took great joy in her role as a grandmother to Sean Burks, Joshua Burks, Brittany, Bradley Walker, and Haley Clark, as well as her great-grandchildren, Elijah Burks and Lily. Faye's family meant the world to her, and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
A beloved companion, Faye shared her home with her cherished dog, Molly, who provided her with comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Family and friends are invited to honor Faye's life at a visitation that will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, October 12, 2026, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Kennesaw Memorial Park on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., where Faye will be laid to rest.
Faye Clark leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience. While her presence will be profoundly missed, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
