Capt. Ethan Wynne

April 4, 1992 — June 3, 2025

Captain Ethan Chase Wynne, age 33, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on June 3, 2025. Born on April 4, 1992, in Dallas, GA, Ethan was the son of Carl and Diane Wynne. His life was a testament to his passion for life and the ocean.

Ethan at a young age developed an unwavering love for hunting and fishing. In his teenage years, he spent many days at sea which led him to pursue his US Coast Guard Captains License. He attended NOVA Southeastern University and studied at the Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He achieved a rating of 100 Ton Master on his Captain's license which was unheard of at his age. He captained and mated on the Reel Appeal a charter boat based in Ft. Lauderdale. He also became an avid scuba diver. He was a PADI Instructor for the dive program at his college and other companies teaching beginners and rescue diving. His skills led him to work for a company teaching rescue diving to the US and Canadian Coast Guard. In a few short years, Ethan logged over 3000 dives. Ethan's desire was to own and operate his own boat out of the Florida Keys.

Ethan also assisted his dad in his real estate consulting company Georgia Tax Appeals & ICI Realty. Ethan held real estate licenses in both Florida and Georgia.

Ethan is survived by his father, Carl Wynne, and mother, Diane Wynne, who raised him to embrace life's adventures. He leaves behind his brothers, Joshua Wynne and Samuel Wynne (Christine), and his sisters, Angela Villacura (Nico) and Sharon Hord (Christopher), each of whom will remember him for his infectious spirit and gentle kindness. He is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Tommye Winn, and cherished nephews-Noah Hord, Eli Hord, and Liam Villacura-and niece, Evelyn Hord.
