Ernest William Patterson

Ernest "Bo" Patterson passed away on January 10, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1951 to the late Ernest William Patterson Sr. and Ruth Dove Patterson. Bo worked as a mechanic for Atlanta Gas Light for 25 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Falcons fan and enjoyed watching the race or game with family. Bo was well known in the family as the supervisor. Whether it was chores, holidays, or yard work, Bo was in charge. He was an incredible son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth Patterson and his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Patterson. He is survived by his sons, Corey (Jennifer) Patterson, Ernest W. Patterson Jr.; sisters, Nancy Patterson, Brenda (Wayne) Cruse, Carolyn Loundermilk; grandchildren, Nikki Harris, Joshua Dantzler, Cole (Hannah) Patterson, Kaylee Patterson; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
