Elizabeth Anne Southerland

Elizabeth Anne Southerland passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 22, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, Anne spent her life bringing joy to those around her and will be deeply missed.

For many years, Anne dedicated her career to the legal field as an office manager and paralegal. She had a natural talent for accounting and organization and was a self-proclaimed "professional browser," always on the hunt for a great deal. Anne also loved reading and was a wonderful cook.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Thelma Hughes; daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn Buzzell; brother, Ralph Hughes; and sister, Virginia Cofield.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Southerland; her son, Mark (Yvonne) Southerland; her cherished grand-doggies, Bailey and Blu; her close family friend, Kathleen Guariglia; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on March 24, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM to celebrate Anne's beautiful life.
