Effie Edge
January 18, 1919 — May 22, 2016
Effie Frances Edge, age 97, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born on January 18, 1919, in Conyers, GA, to the late Charles & Mittie Fuller, and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Edge, and son-in-law, Bill Gable. Mrs. Edge retired from Arrow Shirt Company as a seamstress, and was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point.
Survivors include sons, Gary W. & Sharon Edge of Jonesboro, GA, and Sam & Susie Edge of Newnan; daughter, Margaret Gable of Hiram, GA; sister-in-law, Mary Fuller of Conyers, GA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 1:30 PM, from Eastview Cemetery, with family and friends officiating.
