Edwin V. Renner, age 78, of Hiram, Georgia, died peacefully on May 22, 2025. He was born on March 28, 1947, in Cleveland, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Olda and Madlyn Renner.

Edwin served our country honorably in the Navy and enjoyed a fulfilling career with Norfolk Southern Railroad, retiring after 30 years as a dedicated clerk. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Douglasville.

Edwin was known for his love of roller skating, motorcycle riding, deer hunting, and swimming. He had a great appreciation for muscle cars. He brought joy and enthusiasm to every activity and shared many cherished memories with his family and friends.

Edwin is survived by his beloved children, daughter Sonya Garner and her husband Bill; son Edwin Dwayne Renner; brothers Stan Wagner, Robbie Wagner, and Allen Renner; sister Sandra Renner; and his cherished grandchildren, Hailee Renner and Leland Renner. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Edwin will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sam Clark Chapel. Visitation for family and friends is also Thursday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at Clark Funeral Home. Edwin will be laid to rest in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
