Donna Ray

Donna Lynn Ray, age 71, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. Born in Austell, Georgia, Donna was the daughter of H.L. Townsend and Elaine Gibson, who preceded her in death in May of this year.

Donna spent many years working as a domestic worker in private homes. For the past 15 years, she devoted herself to helping care for her mother alongside her brother, David. Donna worked hard throughout her life, and she now joins her beloved husband, Milton, in eternal rest.

She is survived by her son, Jesi Roberts; her brother, David Townsend; and her beloved Chihuahua, Marie, who held a special place in her heart.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 2, 2026, 2:00 pm at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Don Rackley officiating.
