Donald Pruitt

Donald Pruitt passed away March 13, 2022. He was born on November 19, 1934 to the late Beuman and Pearl Pruitt. Donald was a United States Marine Veteran who loved serving his country. He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Donald will be very missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce Upton Pruitt; and his siblings, Billy Pruitt and Juanita Pruitt. He is survived by his children: Rodney L. Pruitt of Dallas, Georgia, Melanie (Bobby) Harper of Oneonta, Alabama, Fran (Jeff) Farr of Canton, Georgia, James (Donna) Pruitt of Bremen, Georgia; brother: Bobby Pruitt; sisters: Joyce Williams, Brenda Cypress; grandchildren: Maria (Travis) Smith, Maranda (Mark) Camp, James (Brittany) Pruitt, Solomon (Alyssa) Farr, Lacy Farr; great-grandchildren: Victoria Pruitt, Riley Camp, Ridge Camp, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with Brother Roger Luke of Victory Tabernacle, Villa Rica, Georgia giving a pastoral prayer. Funeral Services for Donald will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00am with Pastor Jeremy Issacs of Generations Church, Canton, Georgia and Mr. Dan Fisher of Living Science Academy officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
