Dewey Crowe

Dewey E. Crowe, age 91, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012. He was born December 6, 1920, in Dallas, GA, and was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitte M. Crowe & Annie Wigley Crowe; first wife, Virginia Sweatt Crowe; and second wife, Ethel Atcheson Crowe. Mr. Crowe was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He retired from the Fulton County School System after 29 years as a mail carrier and he was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Edward Crowe of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Barbara Norris (Chris), Angie Wingate (Scott) and C. J. Norris; great-grandchildren, Dawn Parr (Robbie) and Katie Wingate; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Voyles and Mr. David Fosmore officiating. The great-great niece of Mr. Crowe, Emi Fosmore, will be singing. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
