Derek James Rock

Derek James Rock passed away on January 25, 2022. He was born on December 28, 1992 in Lancaster, CA to his loving parents, Greg Rock and Lisa Marie Major. Derek was an amazing father, brother, and son. He loved his family so much and always wanted to help everyone he could. Derek was a true man of God with unshakeable faith and always wore a smile that lit up the room. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his wonderful brother who considered him a hero. Derek will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Derek is preceded in death by his sister, Kyndall Rock. He is survived by his parents, Greg Rock and Lisa Marie Major; his stepmom, Toni Rock; his son, Sutton Rock; daughter, Atlee Rock; brother, Jacob Rock; sister, Kamryn (Jeff Bleakley) Rock; grandparents, Scott and Mindy Major, Benjamin and Marsha Lanahan; his grandfather, Gregory Rock; his aunt and uncle, Travis and Jennifer Major; cousins, Tricia and Trae; and nieces and nephews, Alayna Caswell, Carsen Bleakley, John Bleakley, and Gregory Rock IV.

A Memorial Service will be held for Derek Rock at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
