David Meadows

Mr. David William Meadows, age 75 of Hiram, GA, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025. He was born February 16, 1950 in Austell, GA, son of the late Arthur Wayne "Jab" Meadows and the late Gladys Inez Ragsdale Meadows.

He worked in the HVAC industry for over 20 years having retired from Seasons 4 Inc. as warehouse manager. Mr. Meadows was an active member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved to help others and had a deep love for his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Elizabeth Cochran Meadows on December 14, 2015.

Survivors include two sons, Bryan (Katie) Meadows and Dr. Wayne (Cathy) Meadows; five grandchildren, Nate (Dustey) Meadows, Walker Meadows, Reese Meadows, Ivy Meadows and Jack Meadows; one great-granddaughter, Evie Kate Meadows; two sisters, Dianne (Jimmy) Turner and Denise (Curt) Garner; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at the church at 2:00 pm with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 2056 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Hiram, GA 30141 in memory of Mr. Meadows.
