Danny Bankston

Danny Bankston, 71, of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 in Cartersville, GA.  He was born on November 7, 1949, in Fayetteville, TN.

Mr. Bankston was a Baptist by faith.  He served in the US Air Force. He was self-employed for more than 40 years in cabinetry/construction. He loved his work as a builder and craftsman and mentored many people in his trade. A jokester with an infectious laugh, he enjoyed “loafering” and visiting friends. He loved his family, and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye.

He is predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Bertha Holder Bankston. He is survived by his children Daniel Tyler Bankston of Dallas; Olivia Gaddis of Dallas; April Bankston Leonard and her husband Bobby of Chuluota, FL; Josh Gann and his wife Michelle of Atlanta; Jesse and his wife Theresa Gann of Powder Springs; two brothers, Kent and his wife Tammy Bankston of Buchanan; Rocky and his wife Diane Bankston of Dallas; twelve grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bankston will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kent Bankston and Mr. Tony Crowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
