Daniel Ray Baxter

Danny "Dan" Baxter passed away on March 30, 2023. He was born on August 13, 1960, to the late Herbert and Etta Baxter in Live Oak, Florida. Dan was the ultimate handyman who could fix anything. He had multiple jobs throughout his life, which taught him everything he knew. He would always be there to lend a hand if anyone ever needed him. Dan loved his family and friends and enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh even when times were hard. Dan was very loved, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his brothers, James Cannon and Raymond Baxter. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carol Baxter; his daughters, Melissa Baxter, Jessica (Dan) Miller, Vanessa (Chad) Baxter; one brother, Wade Baxter; five grandchildren, Dustin Ray Britt, Ryan Butterworth, Cameron Eidson, Blaine Miller, Makayla Baxter; several nieces and nephews; and several extended family members.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made towards Danny's Celebration of Life.
